COVID 19 Response

At Miracle Manor, the health, safety, and well-being of our guests and employees is of the utmost importance to us. We’ve modified our operations in order to keep up with the changing world. We’re ready for the new normal. The first step we’ve taken is to develop a new cleaning and safety program based upon guidance from local, state, and federal authorities, which you can review below. For any additional questions about what measures we’ve implemented, please call us at 760-329-6641. Please click the link below to see the local county guidelines we are following for hotel and lodging accommodations in our city.

Please Note…

  • Self check-in is required.

  • The office/lobby area is closed to guests at this time.

  • Due to restrictions from the health department, breakfast is temporarily suspended.

  • No need to wear face masks while outdoors so long as all guests who do not occupy the same room keep a minimum of 6ft distance away from one another.

  • Outside guests for day-use are not allowed at this time.

  • We have currently suspended day passes to ensure capacity limits are maintained.

Arrival and Check-in

The day of your check-in you will be sent a pre-arrival email that includes an overview of our updated policies as well as self check-in procedures. Because we won’t be using our front desk for check in, we encourage you to confirm receiving our updated policies and procedures before your arrival to ensure a smooth experience.

Please note, due to the need for increased sanitization times, we will not be allowing for early check-ins before 3 PM or late check-outs after 11 AM, unless arranged and confirmed in advance.

Amenities

Pool and Soaking Tub: Our pool and soaking tub are open with some limitations. We kindly ask guests who are not traveling together to maintain social distancing of 6ft while in the pool, soaking tub, and sun deck areas. We ask that guests refrain from moving furniture around. Please note that according to the latest information from the CDC: “There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, or water playgrounds. Additionally, proper operation of these aquatic venues and disinfection of the water (with chlorine or bromine) should inactivate the virus.”

Food and Beverage: Your complimentary breakfast items will be placed in your room prior to arrival.

Spa Treatments: Following the guidelines of state and local authorities, we have resumed basic spa treatments. The precautions that we are taking include thorough sanitation and disinfecting of entire spa area between treatments, increased air flow in treatment area, face-down treatments only at this time. Treatments are limited to 60 minutes and you will be asked to complete an intake form and temperature check prior to treatment.

Health and Safety Priorities

Guest Masks: No need to wear face masks while outdoors so long as all guests who do not occupy the same room keep a minimum of 6ft distance away from one another.

Reduced In-room Touch Points: We’ve removed non-essential items from your room (minibar, palo santo sticks, meditation cards).

Staff Safety: Staff have been provided with masks and are required to wear them throughout the property. Staff have been provided training on best practices for social distancing, hand washing, sanitizing, and use of PPE. Staff have also been instructed to stay home if experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms and we have implemented a sick leave policy to incentivize responsible behavior. Likewise, we really have to ask our guests to provide the same consideration in return. If any guest is experiencing symptoms or has any concerns around their possible exposure to infected people, we have to ask you to postpone your plans to visit us.

Housekeeping Services: We hold our staff and physical property to the highest standards of health and safety, including regular sanitation and internal protocols for cleaning. We will only be providing housekeeping service for your day of arrival and not entering again until after you check out.

Upon every departure, a deep cleaning and sanitation will be completed. If you need towels or linens refreshed, we ask you to text us for drop off services only.  All staff are required to wear masks and gloves at all times while cleaning rooms and maintain 6 feet of social distance.

Extra Attention to High-Touch Areas: Housekeeping staff will focus extra attention on the most frequently touched guest room areas – light switches, door handles, A/C Remotes, and hardware. These areas/items – in addition to all normally serviced areas of the room – will be treated with EPA/OSHA-approved disinfecting cleaning agents.
